See, most of the time, 90% of the time, I’m perfectly fine with being single. I am content with my friends. I’m happy, and I don’t think too hard about it.
But then, I’ll watch a sappy movie. Or a romantic scene in a tv show. Or I’ll read a cute passage in a book. Or I’ll see other people out…

I feel the exact same way. Being 17 and never having a boyfriend has done some damage to my already nonexistent self-esteem but then I remember that I am in no shape ready for a boyfriend. How am I expected to love someone when I can’t love myself?
